Tree Lights Bokeh

It's been a funny old day. Whilst we were catching up on the Strictly semi-final in the wee small hours, on returning from Jim & Verity's party, the power went off and did not come on again fully until 1pm this afternoon, so we had to dig out the camping stove for breakfast. Then Jim rang to request the steam cleaner for a red wine incident so I took the machine down and did my glamorous (!) assistant demo, and stayed for a cuppa. The rest of the afternoon was spent chatting to various neighbours and national grid workers about the fluctuating power situation....and knitting! Suffice to say, miserable weather and all, blipping came down to the Christmas tree lights on manual!
