Skelton Tower

This morning was taken up with roller skiing. Today was double poling so I am expecting stiff arms tomorrow. No wonder those cross country skiers are so fit!

After lunch there was just time to fit in a short walk on the moors. Skelton Tower is a folly overlooking Newton Dale and Pickering Forest. It also provides an excellent view of the steam railway.

The light was not at its best and this shot of the escarpment through the window of the tower was the best I could do.
