Hark the hairy angels sing

Had a very entertaining communion service tonight in one of the elderly courts. It seemed that everyone had been on the communion wine before we started. There was a lot of giggling but God was there too. A gentleman came in late and obviously didn't really want to be there but his while demeanour changed after a few minutes. We sang a few well known Christmas carols and some of those that can't read joined in with gusto with words sounding like the words we were singing. Hence the hairy angels and king Kong instead of kingdom. It just shows that familiarity is sometimes needed. They were worshipping despite using different words. And others who could no longer see clearly knew the words by heart.
It was a very blessed service.
