About the only lofty ambition in this Blipper, is to have a warmer home. Especially at this chilly time of year. One that's more economical to run. Less wasteful. And consequently, reduces its carbon footprint. But overall my level of ambition is as it has always been - nigh-on nonexistent. In recent years, that state of affairs seems to have become more pronounced. Aimless. Scunnered. World weary. Etc.

Anyhow, did eventually go up in the loft for a while, and did some rare DIY - lifting old flooring, and spread out the first of a few rolls of insulation. Should, and could, have been up there in the early morning. Not in the late evening, when there was no chance of finishing it off. Other things to be done up there too. May empty it of amassed junk, and dispose of most of it. Perhaps that should be a "hope" for next year - "desire" would be too strong a word - to get rid of all manner of bits-n-bobs elsewhere too. Including some bigger stuff, like that wee river kayak, and the motorbike. Then again, that's likely a distraction from finishing this job. Procrastination. On the home front, I am really good at that.
