December Challenge: One

The retreat center is located in the wine country of Temecula Valley, also known as the "Valley of the Mist." The valley is dotted with citrus groves and vineyards as well as areas of native scrub brush, as in this photo. Hot air ballooning is popular here, but I was surprised to see them out on a weekday morning. During the time here I was treated to two beautiful sunrises and two gorgeous sunsets. Sometimes the colors are more beautiful than I can capture with the camera, as was the case this morning. One photo was of a single tree silhouetted against the sunrise, but it just wasn't as good as the actual experience. This is for chantler63's December challenge for "one".
