And so it begins

I am having a tremendous amount of challenge with the blip site. Catching up on journals is proving harder that I anticipated. I will get to them I promise. Also trying to post is an irritating challenge.

Christmas time.........the first step of the tree has been started, lights, cranberry garland, and this cool shell stuff.....about 25 years ago I found this in a store and bought enough to do my tree and my Mom's tree. I have tons of it now. Since I have never seen it again, I suppose it's a good thing. Many times the offer has been made to some of my nieces and other friends along the way but, they choke say no thanks!

Today another craft type fair. I hope I can get a good blip out of it as my tree will be the subject of many blips and and will start to get boring. I am looking for a December shot for my calendar. (Nope not made yet) Maybe tonight I can get some decent light pics.
This afternoon I hope to finish the tree. It's done in layers so there is quite a bit to be done. This is Tony's first Christmas with us. I hope he ignores the tree. It has been wired in place in two different spots. Anyone want to take bets now?
We bought a new waffle maker last week as Dad had a hankering for waffles. I may try it tonight. If it works, I am making chicken and waffles for the band. If you have never had this, I am so sorry you have missed it. It's a non sweet waffle, with shredded chicken and a mound of mashed potatoes (God's perfect food) covered with Chicken gravy.

It's wonderful stuff.

I have to get the boys up to get something to eat. I am starving. Oh heck, I'll just do this on my own. Maybe muffins.....

Well it seems as if Downunder should be sleeping, and the north is having what I hope is a wonderful day!
