Xmas at the Black Horse

Again. 3rd year in a row. 4th time in all. Time for a change next year.

It was nice that Andrea (Tim's lady friend) joined us. Up until the 11th hour she wasn't, coming but when Adrian dropped out with a cold (wuss) , Andrea had a change of heart. Either she couldn't bear to see a place go to waste or doesn't like Adrian. Only she knows the answer to that question, but I'm hoping that we will see her out more in the new year as they are clearly working well as a couple.

Mag's funeral coming up this week. I'm busy doing the order of service in between trying to get a wedding and Xmas organized. Not me alone - a challenge for everyone and whilst there is no doubt that Thursday is going to be difficult, it's part of the grieving process and essential to moving on IMO.

Decided to do the breakfast thing all over again but this time I'm putting my reviews on Trip Advisor. Looking forward to it on the whole, but there were a few places that I could happily bypass 2nd time around, but we must suffer for our art.
