'The Alex Legg Memorial Concert'

Friends, family and most of the Hills music community gathered today at the Sooki Lounge to put on a memorial concert for the late Alex Legg to raise money to establish a memorial fund in his name to continue the great work he did in fostering new talent and emerging artists.

The music was all brilliant and was certainly what Alex would have wanted with all of the people that he had touched in one way or another paying tribute to the man they all adored and admired greatly.

We dropped the kids off at Mum's on the way over and then back to pick them up afterwards and Mum & Geoff invited us to have a BBQ dinner with them which was lovely. We found out Geoff's secret recipe for his beef burgers which I thought were brilliant, but I can't give it away here.

Back to work tomorrow for a final week before taking a few weeks Summer break.
