Peace Joy Faith and Love

That is what the candles of Advent are lit to remind us of.
This candelabra was donated to the Church by the parents of an 11 year old who was killed on Christmas day 22 years ago. He was such a special child and a great little friend of our whole family and a very special part of the church family. We light another candle every Sunday during advent , The Christ Candle will be lit on Christmas morning.
This child's mother learnt to do patchwork a few years back and just loves creating Christmas pieces. The one behind the candles she made so beautifully along with many others that are also up at the church for the Christmas season.
At long last we have had a beautiful sunny day it inspired me to get some spraying done and much of the dead heading. I started the day by baking scones , my turn on morning tea at Church so all told the day has been busy but a good feeling to have accomplished so much
