Checking the Chicks

Here's Cynthia with my son T, admiring some very cute chicks at the Portage Bay Grange Store a block from our hotel in Seattle. C was delighted to see chickens, bantams, and ducks at a store that looked as if it had been magically transported from the heart of an agricultural area to this city street.

We're having our traditional early gift exchange with children and grandchildren this weekend. C has written a full description of our very busy and satisfying day. Her blip photo is worth a look also.
