Morning walk

What a lovely morning today, we woke up to sunshine and hard frost. This is one of the views from our walk with the dogs this morning, please excuse the quality, I am playing with a new toy. My lovely husband has bought me a Canon EOS, it is a 350D and preowned but I want to learn how to use an SLR properly before spending too much. He has also promised me a days photo course for my birthday at the beginning of next year.

We may be getting to spend Christmas with just the two of us this year, one of my sisters is on her own and has said she is going to come down and take mum up to Scotland for the festive season. I'm not going to get my hopes up until she is safely on her way, my sister has been known to change her mind at the last minute. Although it would be a nice break for us it wouldn't make much difference if she was at home but if my sister lets her down we will be left to deal with mums disappointment, families!
