I had a splendid time in Oxford today! Daniel has stayed on for a few days to help with students coming for interview, so I went to visit him this afternoon. We had lunch first in the Turl Street Kitchen, then went to New College and climbed the many spiral stone steps up the Bell Tower. There were fantastic views over Oxford from there and we watched the sun go down over the city. I was a little nervous going back down the spiral steps, but managed to get down without breaking my spine and getting locked in there for the night! We had a look around the Christmas market in the town and then it was time for me to catch the Oxford Tube bus home. He'll be back at the end of the week though...hurrah!
