White on Blue

Today dawned cold and bright, grass whitened with frost and side roads of glass. Proper shooting weather, and the girls know it and are eager to get started.
The bright sun did not make for the best shooting conditions, the light breeze made scenting difficult but the girls worked well today when they got the chance.
The flat light also made finding a subject to blip difficult, as nothing was talking to me, until I was on the same drive as a fortnight ago. The mustard flowers under the Oak had succumbed to the weather but as I turned 90 degrees these Silver Birch stood out from the rest of the trees against the harsh blue sky.
Hope you had a good day one and all ;)
