The Whisky Calendar

Visited Young's Interesting Books in Skirving Street, Shawlands today. Hadn't been in here before, a nice find. I was rather taken with the old calendar on the sales desk.

I was in to buy tickets for a concert at the weekend, we need something to look forward to. JJ Gilmour and Graeme Duffin at the Glad Cafe on Saturday night - it will be quality.

Very stormy day, ferries off, trains cancelled, bridges and roads closed. Dramatic photos from a friend in the Orkney Islands of huge waves higher than the cliffs at Yesnaby and Birsay.
