Santa Dash

After my late night last night, we were up and out this morning to go and watch the santa dash in Brighton. No sooner had we arrived, than we bumped into Azmi (majicmoments) who took a great shot of Alan and I with the boys. I took quite a few shots which I've put on Flickr, and after seeing the start of the race, we then walked back along the coast, stopping off for a coffee and a hot chocolate at the Meeting Place cafe. It was lovely and peaceful as most people (unless dressed up as Santa), must have been in town doing their Christmas shopping.

We were home for 12pm and then took Alan's parents to Alfriston, a lovely little village not far from Eastbourne. We had lunch at a little tea shop and then wandered round the village and down to the river. I saw two squirrels playing, and one of them was an albino! I managed to get some shots, but due to the light they're not very sharp. It's been a really lovely day and was topped off by seeing the sun setting over the sea as we drove home.

We've just ordered an Indian takeaway to be delivered, and it's a night in, in front of the TV. Hope you're having a good weekend!
