My friend J came to visit today and we walked into Newbury, had a very enjoyable lunch at Nandos (my second time and her first time), then wandered around the Christmas market and further along the canal whilst we waited for some photographs to be printed.

We also had a very nice afternoon tea and cake in the Shoemakers Christian Bookshop before getting a cab home :)

The ducks were fully in view as there was a family feeding them bread :)

Another good to be alive day in the fresh air and sunshine :)

Looking forward to an evening relaxing in front of Strictly and then Casualty :)
