Strawberry Santas

This morning we had our park Christmas get-together, for all of us who meet regularly at the park with our kids. We did a Kris Kringle (Secret Santa for us Brits) for the kids and there was only minimal squabbling afterwards, which was a bonus!

Gina made these amazing strawberry santas... the face was meant to be whipped coconut milk, but a miscommunication between the two of us lead to a lack of satisfactory whippability (I'm sure that's a real word!). Gina substituted for banana, and it worked a treat!

She's been out with her girls to celebrate her birthday since about 1pm... still not back now at 11:30 - I'm glad she's having a good time!! Besides, it allowed me to watch Gardians of the Galaxy again, this time with Patch.

Makes me laugh every time!
