A pale imitation....

Yesterday I witnessed the most amazing sunrise coming up over the distant Alps, the sun bright orange with shades of red spreading out along the mountain chain and with small grey clouds illuminated and partly red.
Just magnificent. Of course I had forgotten to bring my camera!!
To-day the sunrise is but a pale imitation......
