Chocolate House, Kendal

An early trip to Kendal for a hair cut. A spot of Christmas shopping there. I reflected on how easy Christmas preparations are now I don’t have small children to take along but miss them all the same.

Back home to wrap presents as No 2 son arrives on Monday for a few days, after he has been to Oslo and back and LA (again).

He has just phoned me - he has just heard that he has passed the first stage of the interview process. He has done really well. Fingers crossed for the next stage. He is delighted, as am I. My mum would have been very proud too.
