Ghosts in the Machine

I've noticed that a number of people are studying light at the moment.
Since I've had my off-camera flash extension, I've been doing the same.

I didn't realise just how quickly the flashgun eats batteries though - I must hace done about 150 shots over the past two days and I'm already 4 AA's down. I think I need to get rechargables.

This is another of my experimentations, and I was quite interested to see that there seems to be is a lillte fella living in my camera. I always thought that the light falling on the sensor created the picture, but now I'm not so sure. Perhaps every time you press the shutter, a little pixie frenetically paints the scene on his easel. Perhaps Terry Pratchett was right all along....perhaps we do live on a disc on the back of an elephant.....
