glowing tree...

...in late afternoon sunset

i stood amazed - as the tree - glowed in the setting sun - a picture only god - could create in - this huge tree before me - i fiddled - i fussed - knowing the sun wasn't - going to be hanging - in the sky like this - for very long - shining through - the pine needles in just - fashion waiting on little 'ole - me - yet with all - my dithering - i am not as pleased - as i could be - i don't believe - what turned out - is the same as - what i experienced in person - yet sometimes - that's what ends up happening - i think the moment - we want to snap - is elusive - it escapes us - is simply just out - of reach - yes, we do the best - we can in attempting - to recreate it - but it isn't quite the same - i can only hope - you will gaze upon - this and suspend your - disbelief - seeing what i did - the precious sunlight - bouncing around the tree - glowing and sparking with dramatic delight - ready to make it...
