Kitchen!

Onto getting the kitchen done. The main job is the back splash.

First job was to spend a good few hours knocking out a hole for a dishwasher. I'd go as far as saying that this kitchen had a dishwasher in the past - as the cabinet I removed is exact same size as a dishwasher....

Then it was onto putting the backsplash up. The tiles went up pretty easily, but we did the glasswork a little different using a product called TileMat. Essentially, it's sticky double sided tape that allows you to stick tiles to the wall.

It worked amazingly well for the glass tiles. We will be doing that again, as we've always struggled with tileset and glass in the past (tileset (cement) goes everywhere).

Tomorrow we'll grout this.
