The Perch

I guess the Saw Pen Point eagle pair favor this tree at the water's edge at Ferry Plantation because they can keep an eye on their nest site while looking for fish in the Lynnhaven, Buchanan Creek, and Thurston Branch. I've seen them leave their perch, fly out almost a quarter mile, swoop down to grab a fish, and fly off to enjoy it.
