Friday: Light Fitting

First of all, thank you so much for all the comments on my anniversary blip yesterday.  They really are appreciated!

As for today, it was a curiously disjointed day up to a point.  The morning was scattered with meetings and events in such a way that it was hard to get any working momentum in between.  In amongst that, I gave two speeches.  They were both in the same building, but the first was in one of the most architecturally amazing rooms that I have been in.  It was like a combination between an art nouveau masterpiece and a padded cell.  Here you have a glimpse of the light fitting which was, in itself, wonderful.

But the highlight of my day is the fact that Steve has come to visit.  So this evening, we have been enjoying the Christmas markets, as well as a good meal out.
