Simba and Friend

In spite of very icy roads, we managed to go and choose a Christmas tree today and we spent the afternoon putting it up and decorating it. Correction - we both helped put it up and I decorated it:-) My husband leaves well alone, as he knows I love doing it myself!

The rest of the lounge and dining room also got their share of seasonal bling and Simba was in his element. He loves Christmas and especially the tree, which he likes to lie under for hours. It may be the gentle warmth from the lights or maybe the smell of the Nordman fir - who knows? As soon as it's up, he snuggles down beneath it:-)

He was also intrigued by the new look for his old friend and went over to investigate, giving me a chance for a blip of them together.

It looks set to be another very cold night, so the ground will still be icy tomorrow. Do take care and stay safe:-)
