Farmerboab

Tree time

A better day snow wise, though still cold. First off,the tractor with the cattle feed loaded on it refused to start. Engine turning over but like no fuel getting through. Resorted to the30 year old Ford digger with a pallet on the loader. It started first time! After a phone call to tractor mechanic found it was a fuse that had rotted through in next to the battery. This meant unbolting things and a lot of cold mucky fingers and a fair bit of swearing.
Morning spent getting cattle clipped for Monday sale again.
This afternoon went to Carnwath to get spare fuses, and a new battery for the other McCormick tractor.
Charlie the painter has now done about 6 patches of the hall wall with different colours for Mrs Farmerboab to choose from when she gets home from work.
I refused to get involved (it's safer that way ! )
