100 days of happiness- part 2

Day 39 of 100 days happy!
A day of "I have never ever....."
-been on a plane in my wellies
-been on such a short flight (50 mins)
-been to Germany as a family of Saunderseeeez
-met a man wearing lederhosen that's not for a joke
-all navigated the autobahns to get to somewhere we don't know (and not totally sure where we're going from!)
-flown with German Wings
And many more!
The flight was horrific and very shaky, but then we've not flown in the winter months, apart from that it was great and so short!!
Checked into our fab apartment, a quick rest then onto the markets of Dusseldorf!
Amazing sights, sounds and smells, we all feel very lucky!
One thing that makes me very sad is that we don't try and learn other languages like everyone learns English. So on that note we had a German lesson! I think I'm fairly ok with German so I took the lead we can all now use our manners in German, ask for directions, order food and drink and ask for the toilet... The last is very important, with all the hot chocolate and gluhwein!!!
