A bright start
I was up early looking at the moon that was again surrounded by a halo. The prediction of ice and snow to come was right as we were down to at least -2 and had heavy snow showers throughout the day.
Jupiter could clearly be seen above the moon as well as other star constellations. Hopefully the skies will remain clear for the next few nights as the ' Geminid meteor shower may provide as many as 50 shooting stars per hour.' Around midnight is best before the moon rises.
Made the mince pies today and they have gone down a treat so much so that I've had to make some more !
Going to make the most of tomorrow as it's meant to be bright and sunny. Well that's what Tomasz Schafernaker and our weather station said.
Have a great weekend everyone.
