Finally - its here

The white stuff has arrived (insert smiley face of choice here!)
A lovely quick blast out round the Howgills today to stretch the legs and start breaking the feet back into the much stiffer winter boots - crampons not needed today - but tomorrow should hopefully be ice axes, crampons & all the toys.
Todays view was as I descended of the ridge on the end of Grayrigg Pike after traversing Whinfell Ridge - looking towards Ingleborough - for those that know the area you can just make out the J37 windmills on the right edge of the frame.
