my 700th consecutive blip

I have now blipped for 700 days in a row. Indeed, I've missed just one day since joining more than two years ago . So something numerical seemed appropriate.

Another a working week of almost non-stop marking, today I finally ventured out into the world - to moderate some marking with my colleague Sam on the Creative Writing MA programme at Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland. Which meant digging my trusty Toyota Yaris out from several inches of snow.

Combine these two things and you get the blip seen above.
