Lapwings

A grey blustery day after a lot of rain in the night. Another girls get together this morning, sausage rolls, mince pies, cheese scones etc washed down with mulled wine and coffee, yum:) My friend makes the most delicious scones, we all had a great time and exchanged presents. After this I decided I needed a long walk! So I went out to the seawall and took quite a few photos including one of a fantastic black and gold sky, thought I was going to get wet but didn't. Apologies for this shot of the lapwings not being the best but they were at quite a distance and I hadn't got anything to rest on! Best Large.
