The other Bellingham

The snow here has cleared, but as soon as we drove to slightly higher ground beyond Wark, we saw snow on the hills. I took Mum to Bellingham to see the North Tyne Photography group exhition, on all week in the Cheviot Hotel. The photos look splendid; it's a shame they are tucked away upstairs behind a door that says Private!

We enjoyed visiting the craft shop next door and then went to Carriages for our lunch. On our way home I stopped the car to capture this view of Bellingham with the houses lit by the winter sun. This is especially for the people across the sea in another Bellingham! If you look large you are able to see quite a lot of detail.
