Packaging

This is the packaging off the delivery which arrived this morning from Agra, containing the marble plaque we bought during our recent holiday in India.

It is white marble inlaid with semi precious stones, malachite, coral, turquoise and lapis lazuli in the same manner as that used in the Taj Mahal.
We saw the skilled process of inlay work during a demonstration in the showroom of the company we bought it from.

Since the plaque was too heavy to secrete in a suitcase, we had to go legal, have it sent by DHL and pay the duty to get it through customs.

With blip pickings meagre because of inclement weather, it will have its day in the limelight tomorrow.
