A CAT photo!

Those of you who are parents will recognise the situation. You are driving along in the car; "Oh look!" you exclaim"An Excavator!" before realising that actually, your kids are now teenagers and you are alone in your car!

Amusing, and even more so when the child who loved all manner of digger, roller grader, dumper truck and low loader is now 37 and has a growing family of his own.

But in his honour I set aside a very pretty potential blip of Drumpellier Loch and turned 180 degrees to where a feast of earth moving vehicles is starting to create something ... a bigger car park maybe. And all the better that my boy's initials are centre stage!
