Zoomslide

Sameer Kulavoor told me that he has been brought to Auckland from Mumbai to do the extensive mural on the side of an old Victorian villa on Great North Road in Grey Lynn. He is still working on it, with two young women assistants this evening.

Zomslide is a film production company which has owned and worked out of a lovely old brick building (to the left of this photo; in Elgin Street) for 10 years or more. S and I were very attracted to renting part of the brick building for my office. The real appeal lay in the ground floor, and that wasn't the part they wanted to rent out.

Apparently Zoomslide now owns the grey villa, hence the contract which Sameer has.
