Give a Little, Give a Lot

A few years ago we were almost at the point of having to go to a food bank. Things turned around and while we are still struggling, we are much, much better.
For a lot of people in this town, this county (3rd poorest of Michigan's 83 counties) things have not picked up.

We don't have a lot of money to spend, but we figured we could spend a little extra every week and let it add up. So we did. This afternoon we dropped off this heavy box to our local food bank and it felt really good.

We should all take a little better care of each other.
