Amelie had her school play evening performance tonight, they wore their costumes home which was nice as I was able to get a picture. She was a bit upset when Chris collected her and despite her telling him she had cried the whole time she told me she only cried waiting to be picked up. Which, in all fairness, was 7pm and bedtime! She came home, had a snack then bath and bed.

She has been really brave after falling over yesterday in the playground, she has let me renew her plaster and has been quite factual (rather than dramatic like normal!)about her injuries. As well as this she has been in a lovely mood all week, and very helpful with Isaac. She bathed him tonight (poor Isaac was a bit stunned with all the water she used to wash his hair!) and got his pyjamas ready before she went to school.

Isaac has also been in a much better mood today (after he dried off...we got soaked on the morning school run!) He refused his nap and decided to take all of his cars to the kitchen one by one instead...and then back again. He was happy to play rather than just sit with me and cuddle in.

I also showed them both their personalised santa video messages this morning. Amelie was thrilled with hers! Santa - "you are four years old"... Amelie "I AM!!!!"
