Katie had her first school disco today! She chose her ruffliest, twirliest party dress. She loved it. They all came out bouncing.

She also had her flu vaccination today. I had been told by the receptionist she would have to have the injection because she is 5 but the nurse said no she would have the spray because she had been eligible for it but didn't get it offered in time. So that was a relief and very stress free. When I had picked her up to take her, she said that they'd been told they were going to try on their costumes for the nativity this afternoon. She was pleased to have a white dress with tinsel round her waist and head. She's excited to lead the angels for their dance, accepting reasonably well that she's not allowed her mummy made costume. But is very determined we have to do super special hair. Thankfully it's first thing in the morning!

After school we headed to ballet. She got her latest certificate and rosette from her National dance exam. We told her and her little friend that on Sunday they are going to dance with the big ballerinas from the Northern Ballet. Katie was absolutely beside herself. The teacher has chosen a cute little leotard for them both to wear and Katie is just delighted. She asked if she can dance with them every day!
