Sisters

Grabbed this quick photo just as Eve was leaving to go to the Christmas Disco with her pals. Ruby did Eve's make up but isn't going herself. Joe can't be bothered. I'm walking round to pick her up later after a quick rendezvous in the pub with Mrs Smith's sister who is staying with her Mum for a few days as she continues her treatment which requires daily trips to the hospital.

The day started early with an 8.10 am appointment at the dentist for root canal work. Fraser is a top professional thankfully and also heeded my plea not to stint on the anaesthetic so the whole thing was mildly uncomfortable rather than harrowing.

A day spent in front of the laptop after that with the odd break to gaze out the window at the snowy scene and dribble coffee down my chin. Also had to kill one of the last wasps of the year, he was in a bad mood so had to go and unfortunately I grabbed the nearest thing on the window ledge which was a statue of Buddha and did the job. It felt wrong though.
