Coming Home

The last blind corner is always a reminder to me that I'm nearly home safe. It looks more dangerous in the night but oncoming cars announce themselves with dancing flickering light in the bushes straight ahead.... When we meet walkers we slow more than we need to show them we see them.... we acknowledge their existance...that they matter.... I often think it would be a shame to make this road "safer".....just saying
