Growing Amongst The Sunflowers, Aylesford

Day 346 of 365. Hip, hip, hooray - a few days off work. I don't have to go back to work until next Tuesday. Spent most of today just relaxing before a walk down the village to get a haircut and have a pint of beer. Then this evening as soon as my brother gets in from work we're off down to Brighton for a short break - I can't wait.
Through the whole year of my 365 I've discovered what I actually love photographing the most is the everyday things and places I see around me and trying to give them a different slant or find the surreal, strange, funny and sad in the ordinary. I'm not always successful but I so enjoy trying to look for it anyway. Today's shot is of some motorway maintenance lights abandoned by the side of the road and the strange little black plant growing through them. Also, I really thought the light heads looked like sunflowers.
