Horseshoe

I've blipped this horseshoe bend in the River Wey many times through the seasons. A bit of wind today, but not too much, more of a weather squib than a bomb. I saw a red kite - they're definitely moving in to this area.

If you missed the ITV drama, The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies, playing last night and tonight, I recommend you try and catch it online. Jason Watkins must be nailed on for a BAFTA for his remarkable portrayal of Jefferies, the man vilified in the media when he was questioned by police over the murder of Joanna Yates in 2010. It's a drama that questions both the media, the police, and yes, many members of the public for jumping to conclusions about a man, simply because he was different.
