Another sunset

And up to date...

So, dear blipjournal...a place of learnings is Cambodia...here ripped off for hundred dollars in scam by tuk tuk driver...asked if he could change a hundred as I only had three and he wanted four, answer, yes...then he only had 90 change said would change in shop came back no change decided to take three gave me hundred back which, when I tried to use it found to be forgery...ouch...and on way down my full journey ticket wasn't so another seven...bit of an irritation that...possibly more akso but...

And having spent the day, as desired, on the beach...out from party central..realise that it's really not where I want to be...and that it's time to move back north...I think that if I had a week then I'd explore the islands but otherwise it's pretty generic, a bit sleazy in a way but mainly nothing particularly charming. So two nights in phnom Penn next...but now sat on the beach, showered and eaten...and thinking that I miss something of Laos, here the rice is silent or misplaced...and return seems to be on my mind...

And it's another echo of a place; the beach a long thin curve of sand east to a headland, a series of cafes and bars..an echo. But in a couple of days you don't discover much usually but here was never really about that, just the thought of a beach and sunset over the sea for, probably, the only time this trip. Who knows. Another time maybe but not for the moment
