J is for Jesus

This is a cardboard Nativity Set that my Mom received from her Grandmother in 1942. Mom started a tradition almost 30 years ago of having her grandchildren put the set together piece by piece while someone reads the Christmas Story. As the children grew up and learned to read, they would take turns reading the story out of a Children's book. We still use the same book even though everyone is all grown up now. Doing "The Jesus Thing" each year before we open gifts has become a treasured tradition.
