Martin used to be a PhD student in the group and is now a PDRA with my friend Henry at Salt Lake City - he is an amazingly knowledgeable guy who is so generous with his time

At Salt Lake they did some of the key experiments in cold fusion, Martin is holding a lead brick used to screen the possible radiation emitting from the original experiments - Stanley Pons was one of the scientists responsible and a chemist at Utah University - I really would encourage you to read about cold fusion it is a fascinating story on why not to go to the press before you have validated the data
