Instead of a seal, water experiments . . .

I am sorely pressed for choice of blip this morning . . Kona weather pattern continues (voggy and still, cool overnite), so the sunrise was spectacular - many great options and gorgeous colours as the golden sun ball revealed itself!

The beach was also VERY busy: I counted 4 different groups of wedding pictures being taken; some walkers; some sunrise foto takers; 1 professional shoot with lots of gear, and did I mention the dog walkers?

I know that many blippers experiment with water splashes, but this was the first time I've seen one done at the beach - which is actually a pretty good place for it, as you can see. This man and his (g00d) dog crouched beside him had caught my eye more than once as he moved around, but seemed to go back to the same spot of pooled water. His camera is down on the rocks just in front of his right foot. He was getting up to find loose rocks to throw into the water, finding progressively larger rocks. I am really surprised that I captured this one, but I really like it.
Please pardon the glare . . .
