it's what you do - with ornaments - this time of year

gotta love it - which i do - it's the time - when everyone pulls out - all their tucked away - and wrapped up - christmas ornaments to put - onto the tree - to gather 'round - with family or - perhaps friends - maybe by themselves - whatever traditions they have - to get that tree - decorated - with lights, candles, popcorn - pretty much anything goes - as trees become a - hallmark of what - christmas represents

growing up in my family - we always put the tree - up one night - let it rest - then put the ornaments on - another day - making sure we inhaled - a lot of christmas cookies - plus eggnog along the way - there was a lot of singing - dancing - laughing - rough housing and joking with each other - as often happens - with families - ending with "ooohs" and "ahhhs" - once the lights were - turned on, making all - the ornaments glow - it was always a fun time - which led to many...
