Distinction.

Martial Arts belts award ceremony today. Both the girl and her dad gained their next belts, both the girl and her dad gained their belts with distinction. They had done so much practice, consistently. It's not easy fitting this in around school and full time work, respect to them both. The photo is of the Mister helping B with her new belt.

Proud is hardly the word, especially considering that B had a cricked neck a couple of days before the grading, and was still on antibiotics when she took the grading for an infection she'd picked up the week before. She'd actually missed the last practice session, then missed the lantern parade due to being stuck in traffic when coming home from another practice that she attended instead.
