Lots of photo ops today, but...

...the light was so dull, I wasn't happy with any of the results. It's a shame because a pileated woodpecker, a blue jay, 49 wild turkeys (yes, there were 49) and a red-bellied woodpecker all posed patiently. We need some sunshine! This woodpecker portrait was the best of the lot. I think it is a hairy woodpecker...looks a little too large for a downy, but who am I to say? And Woody wasn't saying either. If you have any surplus sunshine, please send some our way.
