Santa Surprises Old Gits

The final Old Gits' coffee morning before Christmas was hosted by our friend and golfing partner Henri.

Henri enjoys acting the grumpy curmudgeon and professes to be more lukewarm about Christmas than Ebeneezer Scrooge but his partner is a Christmas fanatic and the house and garden is already festooned with trees and decorations, including this life - size Santa.

Henri took great delight in surprising each new arrival by activating the button which sparked Santa into animated life singing, and dancing to, a selection of festive songs. (Santa, not Henri).

Not sure which was the greater surprise, the Singing Santa or Henri's new-found festive jollity.

(I'm blaming the blurry shot on Santa's over-lively dancing and an overdose of sponge cake!)
